so about 2 weeks ago i started this project....arron has been asking me for awhile to paint something for him, i never knew what to paint, so a couple of weeks ago when we were in park city he saw a painting by carole wade that he really liked, it was in an art gallery and it was lots of money, so i took some inspiration from her and painted this for arron. :) i'm pretty proud of it, seeing as i haven't painted anything since high school.

Too soon for the summer cut....

Bo has been shivering all day. So i had to break down and put a sweater on him, i'm not a big fan of clothes on animals, but at least he looks good..haha. It might have been a little too soon for the "summer cut". GO UTES!

Park City Weekend.............

i APOLOGIZE for the POOR quality photographs, let me tell you what happened...we get up to park city and check in to our condo, i think to myself, i'm going to take a picture of this awesome crib, well i get out my camera, and NO battery.... i left it on the charger at home!! crap!!! so we go to walmart and get a disposable camera.. hence the crappy pictures, oh well we had a great time: skiing, eating, hot tubing, and you know...spending "time" together. So the camera disaster, wasn't really too much of a disaster. :)

i know you cant see it, but right behind the hot tub at our condo is the ski lift, it was so awesome to just step out of your front door and start skiing.

weekend fun.........

We had so much fun & it was so warm, we saw a couple of guys skiing with NO shirt on.... crazy cowboys. (literally, they had on cowboy hats)

She is sort of AMAZING in concert!! i had a great time. i guess the year and a half i had my ticket was worth the wait.

happy singles awareness day........

I know i'm not single, and i'm very grateful that i have the most wonderful valentine in the whole world, but i think its funny to call it "singles awareness day".

My favorite part of valentines.......................... SUGAR COOKIES!!!! and bow chicka bow wow!

(yes thats a sugar cookie for my dog Bo! my mom made these for us. its really just a nice way of giving me 2 cookies, without having to say.. "here lisa i know you want more then one sugar cookie...haha)

one of "those" days......................................

you know those days when you feel like your on the verge of having a melt down and your not sure why, but your sure if someone looks at you wrong you might just punch them in the mouth!! well I've had one of those WEEKS, so i needed to focus on something that makes me happy! I NEEDED A CHANGE. so i went to the paint store, and painted my pantry door red. I obviously was not in a very logical frame of mind, because i only needed to paint this one little door, and i bought a gallon of red paint! Which could have added to my craptacular week, if i didn't fetching LOVE my door SOOO much!! :)

OH, and while i'm trying to focus on things that make me happy, here are a few more pics.
1. i love pizza, and this a great alternative when trying to get rid of the badonkadonk that's following me around. 2. i love these new delight granola bars.....healthy and delicious.
3. i love when its warm enough in the middle of winter to wear my flip flops for a couple of hours!

my peeps from high school!!

My friend Angie came in to town, she lives in Seattle now, and my friend Beckie had her baby 2 weeks ago (don't you just hate her cuz she looks so fantastic) so we all got together for dinner. It was fun to catch up with these girls, it makes me feel 18 again when i hang out with them.

have you ever thought to yourself after singing in the shower, "you know, i'm pretty good at singing, maybe not carrie underwood good, but pretty good" and then just to check, you tape record(not video tape, don't worry) yourself singing in the shower, just to see how good you are? Well don't, it just takes away that dream of someday staring on Broadway. :(

HELLO 2009

What a great start to the new year!!!

We rang in the new year with some of our closest friends at our annual NEW YEARS EVE BASH, which consisted of great food, bunco, and a new years kiss!!!

We went to a jazz game!! (yeah, i know we look like we are at a University of Utah game, its just most of our clothes are red)

*and we're only 8 days into 2009, Its going to be a great year, i can feel it my guts....haha.*

A WEEK OF CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas.... like always, was fantastic...... We spent Christmas eve with Arron's family playing bingo, which is one of my most favorite Christmas traditions. Christmas was pretty relaxed, we spent the day with my family, went to a movie and got to talk to my little bro that is on his mission in Brazil, he is doing great and it was awesome to hear from him, although it reminded me how much i miss him. Arron and I went skiing a couple days after Christmas, it is so fun to be able to do so many thing together, I'm such a lucky gal........ and then the week came to an end and I'm sad its over, like i am every year, but I'm looking forward to what 2009 will bring. I hope the New Year will be good to all of you, thanks for making my 2008 GREAT!!!
