WALK THE WALK

there is nothing like spending a whole week with women who make you proud to be woman and a daughter of god. i was lucky enough to go to girls camp this past week as the "camp chef". the theme this year was "walk the walk", implying that as daughters of god we don't just "talk the talk" we need to "walk the walk" and always try to be an example and live the Gospel as we try to mirror our life after our savior. What a wonderful example these young girls and the others leaders were to me as i strive to "walk the walk" in my own life. :)

i wanna be a redneck.....

another fun weekend with ryan and amber down in the record books.... highlights and lowlights...
*the velvet hills, and other amazing 4 wheeling trails.
*4 wheeling through puddles, you cant help but feel cool when you do that.
*amber catching the only fish even though ryan suited up like a rubber ducky and floated around the whole lake.
*completely ruining some homemade Amish friendship bread and trying to blame it on the elevation, but figuring out i forgot the flour...a minor detail really.
*shooting a freaking gun that made me feel strait up gangsta, taking me back to my rose park roots.
*eating rattlesnake for the first time... not so delicious!
*getting away from civilization and living like a redneck... thanks ryan and you classy broad.

Green River.... and the rain!
for memorial day weekend we "attempted" to go river rafting at green river. We only got down the river once in the 3 days we were there, but we still had a ton of fun. here is some highlights from our rainy weekend..
*meeting new friends
*learning how to play mafia (and gina working chris over..haha)
*the mud, the rain, the hail....yes, hail.
*horseshoes
*the delicious food
*arron pretending to be on titanic..sometime i wonder about him?
*not being able to make it up to our prime camp site that chris promised us and settling for a KOA run by a "very helpful" southern gentleman.
thanks chris and tara for planning a fantastic weekend, that even though it didnt turn out exactly how you promised in your 10 page outline, was still a fetching good time. :)
