weekend fun.........

We had so much fun & it was so warm, we saw a couple of guys skiing with NO shirt on.... crazy cowboys. (literally, they had on cowboy hats)

She is sort of AMAZING in concert!! i had a great time. i guess the year and a half i had my ticket was worth the wait.

happy singles awareness day........

I know i'm not single, and i'm very grateful that i have the most wonderful valentine in the whole world, but i think its funny to call it "singles awareness day".

My favorite part of valentines.......................... SUGAR COOKIES!!!! and bow chicka bow wow!

(yes thats a sugar cookie for my dog Bo! my mom made these for us. its really just a nice way of giving me 2 cookies, without having to say.. "here lisa i know you want more then one sugar cookie...haha)

one of "those" days......................................

you know those days when you feel like your on the verge of having a melt down and your not sure why, but your sure if someone looks at you wrong you might just punch them in the mouth!! well I've had one of those WEEKS, so i needed to focus on something that makes me happy! I NEEDED A CHANGE. so i went to the paint store, and painted my pantry door red. I obviously was not in a very logical frame of mind, because i only needed to paint this one little door, and i bought a gallon of red paint! Which could have added to my craptacular week, if i didn't fetching LOVE my door SOOO much!! :)

OH, and while i'm trying to focus on things that make me happy, here are a few more pics.
1. i love pizza, and this a great alternative when trying to get rid of the badonkadonk that's following me around. 2. i love these new delight granola bars.....healthy and delicious.
3. i love when its warm enough in the middle of winter to wear my flip flops for a couple of hours!

my peeps from high school!!

My friend Angie came in to town, she lives in Seattle now, and my friend Beckie had her baby 2 weeks ago (don't you just hate her cuz she looks so fantastic) so we all got together for dinner. It was fun to catch up with these girls, it makes me feel 18 again when i hang out with them.

have you ever thought to yourself after singing in the shower, "you know, i'm pretty good at singing, maybe not carrie underwood good, but pretty good" and then just to check, you tape record(not video tape, don't worry) yourself singing in the shower, just to see how good you are? Well don't, it just takes away that dream of someday staring on Broadway. :(

HELLO 2009

What a great start to the new year!!!

We rang in the new year with some of our closest friends at our annual NEW YEARS EVE BASH, which consisted of great food, bunco, and a new years kiss!!!

We went to a jazz game!! (yeah, i know we look like we are at a University of Utah game, its just most of our clothes are red)

*and we're only 8 days into 2009, Its going to be a great year, i can feel it my guts....haha.*

A WEEK OF CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas.... like always, was fantastic...... We spent Christmas eve with Arron's family playing bingo, which is one of my most favorite Christmas traditions. Christmas was pretty relaxed, we spent the day with my family, went to a movie and got to talk to my little bro that is on his mission in Brazil, he is doing great and it was awesome to hear from him, although it reminded me how much i miss him. Arron and I went skiing a couple days after Christmas, it is so fun to be able to do so many thing together, I'm such a lucky gal........ and then the week came to an end and I'm sad its over, like i am every year, but I'm looking forward to what 2009 will bring. I hope the New Year will be good to all of you, thanks for making my 2008 GREAT!!!

Highlights from our trip to NYC............................................i would totally live here!!!
1. street vendor hot dogs
2. petty cab ride through central park
3. dancing in the "friends" fountain (i know they made a replica for the TV series..whatever)
4. frozen hot chocolate from serendipity..DELICIOUS
5. lobster stuffed ravioli from piasanos in little Italy... O MY GOSH.... heaven!!
6. watching Arron wheel and deal for his "rolex" on canal street.
7. MY mad haggling skills for a "diamond ring, versace sunglasses and a luis vuitton bag"
8. David Letterman
9. last minute tickets to wicked... can i just say AMAZING!!!
10. spamalot, little mermaid and phantom on broadway... all fantastic!
11. the rockettes Christmas spectacular..wow they have great legs
12. garretts cheddar and Carmel popcorn mix
13. hot chocolate at Rupert's HELLO DELI.
14. ground zero.
15. seeing Daniel Radcliffe aka the real harry potter, even though i'm pissed that he is naked in his broadway show. (we saw him on the street, i refused to see harry potter naked.)
16. having an 8x8 hotel room... very cozy, ya know what i'm saying, wink wink.
17. lady liberty.. thanks france! GOD BLESS AMERICA
18. the subway.. we are masters.
19. seeing actual dog walkers, walking 5 dogs at a time, i don't know why, but i loved it.
20. cupcakes and cheesecake.
**AND last but not least, spending an amazing week with the best friend a girl could have... i love you babe.
