*******************************Happy New Year!!!!******************************

Happy 2008- we had a party on New Years with some of our closest friends, because, lets face it, if your not a big drinker, its usually a let down. So even though there was no alcohol, we still had a great time. It wasn't so much a pajama party as a "comfy clothes" party. we just wanted everyone to come, relax, play games, eat good food, and most importantly have fun. This is the 2nd year in a row we have had the New years eve party , but i hope to keep it going for many more years to come. :)

some of us showed our skills on the guitar, playing guitar hero, and the more mature people decided to break out the card table and get a game of poker going. What a fun night!!!

and at midnight. It was all about THE LOVE!!! :o)

***********************************Christmas 2007***********************************

Its all over :( the excitement, the Christmas music, the decorations, and unfortunately the spirit that surrounds this time of year. I really hope i can hang on to it as long as possible. Christmas was so great this year. Spending time with family....how can you go wrong! :o) The Christmas parties, the food. I wish the extra weight didn't hang around so long. :( But its all worth it, I'll take the extra 5 lbs any day to get to spend so much time at home, with my husband, family and friends.

A Different look at Bear Lake. We went to the cabin this year the day after Christmas. Its fun to go and get away from it all. Its quiet and beautiful. We went Sledding, played games, slept in, watched Movies, and of course.... ate. :( It was really fun and relaxing.

For an activity one day we built rockets.... i know your probably thinking, "um, OK, why" well just to go and launch them and see how high they would go. You have to be creative when you're snowed in. :)

well i hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. i cant wait for next year. But i feel blessed to have wonderful friends and family that make the "in between" just as special.

Remember........................................

I finally got my window painted, I'll try to wash it off before Valentines day... NO promises. :)

So i got this in an email, so most of you might have already read this but it struck a cord with me as i worry about finding the "perfect gift" for everyone on my list.
A woman was Christmas shopping with her two children. After many hours of walking down row after row of toys and after hours of hearing both her children asking for everything they saw on those many shelves, she finally made it to the store elevator with her two children in hand. She was feeling what so many of us feel during the holiday season time of the year, getting that perfect gift for every single person on our shopping list, overwhelming pressure to go to every party, every housewarming, taste all the holiday food and treats, making sure we don't forget anyone on our card list, and the pressure of making sure we respond to everyone who sent us a card. Finally the elevator doors opened revealing a crowd in the car. She pushed he r way in and dragged her two kids and all her bags of stuff in with her. As the doors closed she couldn't take it anymore and started out, "Whoever started this whole Christmas thing should be found, strung up, and shot."
From the back of the car, a quiet calm voice responded, "Don't worry, we've already crucified Him."
Lets all try and REMEMBER what Christmas is all about, we all have so much to be thankful for, I feel truly blessed to have each one of you in my life.
Merry Christmas!!

******************************Happy Birthday To ME!!******************************

So i pretty much had the perfect birthday. (besides turning 28 and officially being in my "late 20's") It started out with my husband ordering me some Chocolate covered strawberries from some online place called Sharis Berries. They were amazing. I really should have taken a picture of them but i needed to get that goodness in me as soon as possible!! haha

For Lunch that day i went to the Cheesecake factory with some of my best friends. It was so much fun.

Arron had ROSES delivered to the cheesecake factory and they were sitting on the table for me when we were seated. WHAT? are you kidding me, how nice is he. VERY!!

Then i got to spend the rest of the evening with my sweet husband. He is the best!

I am truly blessed to have amazing friends and the best husband in the world. :)

*****TJ's Wedding and the Pink Shoes!!*****

So my brother TJ got Married!! wow. I cant believe it, i am so happy for him. It was such a fun day. The The Temple and the 0reception both were amazing! (once i got into the temple, but that's just a long boring story.) We danced and ate great food and saw a lot of friends and family we hadn't seen in a long time. It was so much fun. The only part that was not so fun was the pink shoes i had to wear with my brides maids dress!!! And while the are freaking hot shoes, my feet, oh my feet! I have NEVER owned a pair of stilettos, I'm not a stilettos kind of girl, but i unfortunately think these shoes are sooooo cute. I'll have to keep trying to wear them every once in a while, and get use to them, I know Arron would like that! :)

This is my cute mom and dad with TJ & Chelsey.

What a handsome group of groomsmen and cute bridesmaids. Dont worry, I wasn't alone in my suffering, everyone had the same shoes as me. We all had our shoes off, right after we were done with the pictures. what a relief!

This is my other little brother Austin, he is going to leave on his mission soon. :( he breaks all the ladies hearts!!

Ha Ha Ha, i thought this was a funny picture of TJ getting the garter, I don't know, do you think he is excited to be married?

At this point we had pretty much lost our minds, we're going on hour 13, our shoes are off, the bride and groom are gone, doing "who knows what" well i know what. All the guys have our sashes around their head, and we are still dancing. What a fun night!!!!

-------Who needs Volleyball anyway!-------

We recently had our annual Bear Lake Family Reunion, with all of the families from Arrons moms side. We have a volleyball tournament every year, last year we made it to the championship game. This year.... not so much, we took LAST place. :( it was pretty embarrassing, but we've already started training for next year! haha . We made team jerseys and if you cant tell from the picture, we put our numbers on our sleeve and and in case you didnt notice, we're all #1.

But who needs Volleyball, if i failed to mention it before, the water balloon toss is where its at!! That's because your looking at the 2 time water balloon toss champions, that's right 2 not 1. Some would say its in the balloon, but i believe its skill, and years of training and practice. :o) we'll show them when we defend out title next year.

Well thats all for now. Up next TJ's wedding!!!

-------Bear Lake...Again!-------

So i know i 'm pretty boring, cuz all of my blog entries are about bear lake it feels like. anyway, we went to bear lake again, but this time we took Holly, Jeremy, Jane and Max. So it was way fun. We loved being able to share one of our very favorite places on earth with some of our closest friends. I wish we could take you all up there some time, but until then i'll leave you with a picture of our little cabin on the lake. :)
