packs punkin patch

I hate when you go to a place, much like this here packs punkin patch,
that i swear is designed not for the purchase of .28cent/lb pumpkins
but for perfect picture opportunities around every corner
and you FORGET your fetching camera, so you have to rely on your constant companion, the iPhone.
{run-on sentence anyone}
what would we do without this technology?
the quality of the photos suffer but the subjects are still breathtaking!

thanks to grandma great whos been jonse'n to take the boys to the pumpkin patch since last year.
we got out on a monday night to enjoy this A . M . A . Z . I . N . G fall weather
and fight the other FHE'rs for the rights to a cart and the perfect pumpkin.

luckily arron and gabe made it through the hay maze..twice!
pumpkins were purchased
and despite the HUGE oversight by this gal with the pregnant brain...
precious fall photos were captured, downloaded and now documented.

so feel free to carry on fall, i've got things under control!
sorta.

sad attempt

sad sorry attempt to catch up in one big post. i just wanted to get these pictures on the blog because i love them and one day when i get super motivated and get this blog printed, pressed and published into a book, i didn't want these to be left out.
*
i remember raking leaves into a big ol pile and flinging myself into the middle like i was about to land on a soft fluffy cloud..... if you get the urge to do it now, as an adult, don't do it, it aint soft and you would get the same effect if you just threw yourself on the ground. leaves do not break your fall my friend.
yet my dad who raked the big pile of leaves for me in my day has now continued the tradition with gabe, and gabe loved it just as much as i remember loving it.
and i'm sure thinks the leaf pile is a soft place to land.

Happy New Year!
2013

Gabe partied a little too hard this year.
we may need to consider reeling him in a little earlier next year.

Heaven knows its been cold this winter
but alas, we live in Utah after all and so what do you do...
you bundle up and go play outside!

and if the deep freeze just doesn't seem to be letting up...
 pretend its spring.

keep warm!
