you know that feeling when you have enough money for your bills but thats it and you just wish that some one would plant a money tree in your back yard so you could get rid of the debt that your not touching.
well thats how i feel about cleaning right now.
ive got enough in me to clean my house, keep it presentable in case an unexpected visitor shows up. i even have enough in me to shine the mirrors and dust the 6 inches of dust off the fans, ive cleaned the bugs out of light fixtures and scrubbed toilets. but that goop in the corners of the shower that i cant get to go away with out a good dose of elbow grease is not going anywhere (i was even taken in by the Kaboom commercials and went out and bought a bottle, but have yet to try it out). or the blinds!!! where to begin? ive wanted to get the dust off of those since before i was preggers and now my little dude is 7 months old, but lets be honest, i've lived in this house for 5 years now, and NEVER, i repeat never cleaned my blinds. (you may want to reconsider coming over if you have a bad dust allergy)...and the floor boards... the shower glass. all these things that i keep hoping will magically go away....dont. I even really do love to deep clean, that feeling when your house is all sparkly and happy and smells like pine sol.
but you see,
i've gotten into cleaning debt and i cant seem to get out, so if i could just get back "zero" and start with a "clean" slate, i swear i would keep up.

HA HA HA! I have massive cleaning debt too. Let's hire Merry Maids together and then move on, shall we?! :)
Confession: I've never cleaned my blinds, either. I second the Merry Maids idea. I'm going to have to look into that.
Too funny. I was just texting a friend about cleaning. I can never get to "that other stuff" because I clean something and then have to clean that same something seriously a minute to an hour later! I am so ready to pull my hair out! I spent HOURS cleaning my kitchen 2 days ago....Now I can't walk on the flippin' floor with out some kind of shoe apparel on because you could feed a few ant colonies with the crumbs that stick to my feet! "Sigh". "Sigh again". I am SO at a loss. I wish I was there....we could just forget our messy houses and go out and eat some lemon terragon pasta. "sigh". Love you babe.
FUNNY!!!! :) Just like with debt sometimes you need to hire someone to get you out well, I happen to know great cleaner who charges $13 an hour!!!! She could be your debt consolidator who gets you back to zero!
Admit it...sometimes we just need to give in, go out to dinner, and when we come home...BAM! clean blinds and no goop.
Let me know if you want her number :)
(It's my little sister!)
